Cost: £40 for members, £50 for non-members. £20 of this sub will go towards the work of LASI. The numbers of are restricted to 20 so please book NOW to ensure a place.

Professor Ratnieks is the first professor of Apiculture in the UK and responsible for setting up LASI at Sussex University. This workshop will combine lectures with hands on activities. LASI has been undertaking research and successfully breeding Hygienic bees for aiding Varroa control. We will also be treated to a lecture on Neonicotinoids which is topical as there will be a review on their use on certain flowering crops in the EU following a three year ban.
